I'm a Creative. Actually, I just work with my Creative and have to sometimes reign it in to make awesome-looking results. My Creative takes me all over the place. Sometimes it's web, sometimes it's print, and on other occasions, my Creative has taken me to costume design and sewing. Really, my dates with my Creative have taken me pretty much everywhere.
My Creative has dragged me through years of perfecting images in Photoshop; getting every little blemish and subduing those wrinkles. My Creative has sailed me through the rough patches of Illustrator, only to have me smooth those Bézier curves. My Creative has pulled me through the traffic-logged streets of InDesign's grids. My Creative has threaded the jumbled mess of HTML and CSS. My Creative has taken my hand and had me model, mold, touch, sew, and craft product models, mock-ups, and full-on costumes from scratch.
In these many years with my Creative, I have taken what it has helped me find. Short and small projects, long and large positions, it's all been a gamble as to what's out there. One day, it's presenting concepts to a client, another is making close-to-final mock-ups. One day is sitting in a complete fervor sketching ideas, another is chugging through image manipulation and retouch. It gets tiring constantly searching and flipping between between project, but coming home exhausted from a busy day glowing is the joy of having such an active Creative.
So, currently, my Creative needs something to chew on. Something, new, big, exciting, and awesome. And it's going to take me where it needs to be to find that something. It'd be pretty cool.
